Near the end of 2017, remodeling contractor, EdgeWork Design Build said good-bye to its home in Excelsior, MN. We had been serving our clients from the West Metro area for over 30 years. This was a big decision, a definite cause for reflection, not only on what we’ve accomplished, but also where we’re headed.
When asked about his thoughts surrounding the move, owner, Dave Stockdale shared, “Chanhassen and Excelsior have been great to us on so many levels. We have significant ties to those communities and have built a strong following.”
To date, EdgeWork Design Build has designed and executed home remodeling projects throughout the entire Twin Cities Metro, with the highest concentration of homeowners residing in the west and southwest suburbs and South Minneapolis. Location was an important factor in determining the new location. “We wanted to be centrally located with easy access to the entire metro area. The new location will allow us to serve our coverage area even better.”
Construction of EdgeWork’s new suite is underway and scheduled for completion in early May. Dave’s design includes office space, kitchen, bath, showroom and balcony. “I wanted to create an inviting space not only to meet with clients, but also to host events and showcase some of our work. We’re excited to have ample space to accomplish all this and better serve our clients.” Dave is also exploring the addition of a solar energy system to help minimize energy costs.
